My two month old daughter has been formula fed since her 2nd week and has moved up to eating 4-5 oz every feeding for about 4 weeks now. She's gaining weight, she was 6lbs 8oz at birth and is now 11lbs 9oz, but she has recently been refusing to drink more than 2 or 3 oz at every feeding. She eats about every 3 or 4 hours except at night which she may wake up once for a bottle. She is really gassy but rarely fussy about it so I'm not sure if that could be part of the problem or if maybe she's already starting to teeth? This is my first baby so I'm not sure if this type of eating behavior is normal in formula fed babies or what to do about it if it's not. She just went to the doctor for a check up and everything seems to be normal but I don't know if I should call and ask about it? If anyone else has had a problem like this with their baby, suggestions and input would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Amanda - this question comes up a lot, which leads me to believe it is a common issue. Most parents later report that it was phase and sometimes related to teething or a virus. These questions and answers may help http://moms4mom.com/tags/bottle-feeding/
