my 7 month old was never good to drink bottles for me but is now point blank refusing liquids! she is taking solids for the past 2 months and seems to love them but am now struggling to get 8 oz. in to her during the day! when she sees her bottle she gets agitated and tries to knock it out of my hand! she is teething quite a lot! have tried a number of different cups and also formula, water and even baby juices- she's refusing them all! has anyone any suggestions as to what I can do?

I suppose you could try giving ice poles - make your own if you want to be confident of the ingredients.

I remember a public health nursing telling me that babies can go through phases where they refuse either solids or bottles when teething. If I remember right I was worried because my oldest (only daughter at the time) didn't seem to want to drink as much at the time. It eventually went away.
