Can I/Should I take Immodium or something similar when breast feeding?

Well, I found this website: http://www.kellymom.com/health/meds/aap-approved-meds.html and according to it, it's okay to take it. Anyone found any other sites that has more information about it?

Kellymom.com is a terrific website for breast feeding info.

Another site you might find helpful the Drugs and Lactation Database (LactMed) which allows you to search for different drugs and see if there has been any studies done on a particular drug during breastfeeding.

With any medication I took while breastfeeding, I talked to a pharmacist first. It is their job to know the drugs, the possible side effects and any interactions that may occur when combined with other drugs.
