My baby's lead levels came back slightly high, and I'm starting to try tracking down sources.

Can anyone explain to me how and where I can get my house tap water tested? (California/East Bay specific answers are especially helpful.)

Ideally I'd mail a sample somewhere.

Google "california water analysis" gave me a link to "Basic Laboratory" which says in its blurb that it caters for private homeowners - though not at what price.
