I am 9 weeks pregnant and my expected date of delivery is Aug 4, 2011. I am 4'11 in height and is curious to know when will i start showing my pregnant belly (& how much) and how difficult will be for me to carry the baby in later stages. Also i am interested to know what kind of exercises can i do to make myself comfortable in third trimester.

My primary care doctor suggested pilates, since they strengthen your core muscles (stomach and back) which will be very handy come labor time.

I started pilates when I was pregnant and got great back pain relief from it. The only issue I had with pilates was that after doing yoga for so long, it was hard for me initially to switch my breathing techniques - one you exhale into a movement and the other you exhale out of each movement... but I eventually got the hang of it and benefited greatly

As far as exercises, I would recommend prenatal yoga. I did a class during the last half of my most recent pregnancy and I found it helped a great deal with reducing swelling and managing the aches and pains of the third trimester.
